Dhajisode Cats

Burmese & Siamese

The Burmese

The Burmese is an elegant, muscular cat of medium size, of distinctive foreign type, resembling neither Siamese or British build.  Ear set, eye shape and brow line combine to form the distinctive Burmese frown.  It has a coat that looks and feels like satin.  Males are generally larger than females.

Burmese come in a variety of colours: Brown, Chocolate, Lilac, Blue, Cream, Red & Tortoiseshell.

The Burmese is an outgoing , sociable cat, lively and alert and a pleasure to own.  Burmese cats and kittens get along very well with children and become members of the family very quickly.

The Siamese Cat

Cats in this breed are medium in size, beautiful balanced, with head ears and neck carried on a long, svelte, well muscled body, supported on slender legs with feet and tail in proportion.  The head and profile should be wedge-shaped neither round or pointed.  The expression is alert and intelligent.  Males are generally larger than females.

Siamese come in a variety of colours in the point area similar to the Burmese but also with the tabby markings.

There should be a good clear contrast between the point and body colour.

Their eye colour should be a clear blue and the deeper in colour the better.

The Siamese is a wonderful cat to own.
